Thanks to the experience gained while organizing last year’s edition of European BBQ Championship and Open Polish BBQ Championship, Dolina Charlotty could offer many interesting attractions.

22 teams from UBC area took part in the bbq championships. Their task was to prepare dishes in different categories. Amateur teams- from gastronomic schools had a national dish to prepare- it was a free style category. Professional teams- representations of restaurants from UBC area had 5 different categories: chicken, fish, ribs, pork shoulder and national dish. At the same time there was an Open Polish BBQ Championship where restaurants from all over Poland were competing against each other.

During the event we were attempting to beat Guinness World Record in category of “the highest number of people barbequing simultaneously” . The previous record belonged to China- 2801 people. We have managed to beat that- we have achieved 2853 people barbequing simultaneously. Thanks to that we became the capital of BBQ for the whole Europe and even for the whole World.

Dolina Charlotty has been hosting a music festival “Rock Legend Festival” for 8 years now. This year together with UBC BBQ Championship we were holding UBC Charlotta Rock Festival. From almost 50 applications we received from young Rock bands- we invited 15 to play in the amphitheater in Dolina Charlotty. The concerts were taking place from 12 to 13 of June 2015. The best 3 bands selected by jury- Kelvin from Norway, Brontupisto also from Norway and Ziggy Wild from Estonia will have an opportunity to appear as support bands on the concerts at 9th Rock Legend Festival ( ZZ TOP and Carlos Santana ) and Charlotta Rock Festival ( Robert Plant ).
